Lourdes Scene of Pretty Wedding.
Charming simplicity in all its appointments characterised the wedding of Miss Rose Devery, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Devery, to Roy Stoner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Stoner, of Hillsdale, Okla., at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Tuesday morning, October 10th, Father J. J. Norris performing the ceremony. A large number of relatives and friends witnessed the ceremony and the sacred pledges.
The bride was attended by Miss Gertrude Haubrich and the groom by Owen Devery.
Following the ceremony, the newlyweds were greeted with the heartiest forms of congratulation from their relatives and friends at the bride's home where an elaborate wedding dinner awaited them, the following being present: Father Norris, Mr. and Mrs. M. Devery and sons, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Owens, of Lawler, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Miller and family, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Daley and son, Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Long, Mr. and Mrs. Page Minear and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Pat Noonan and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Will Whalen and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Biwer, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Biwer, Mr. and Mrs. James McBride, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Reynolds and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Chihak.
The newlyweds will reside at Davenport Iowa.
