Peclnovsky-Lukes.
A pretty wedding was solemnized Monday, Sept. 4th, 1916, when. Miss Emma Pecinovsky became the bride of Fred L. Lukes. The attendants were Bessie Pecinovsky, sister of the bride, and August Lukes, brother of the groom. The bride was charmingly attired in white crepe de chine, and the brides-maid in pink. A reception was tendered the happy couple at the home of the bride’s parents where about 50 families attended.
The house was prettily decorated in pink and white.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Pecinovsky and is a charming and accomplished young lady of rare grace and refinement.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ferd Lukes and commands the respect of a large circle of friends here. He is a most estimable young man and is to be congratulated upon his choice of a life partner. They leave on a honeymoon trip to Jerseyville, Ill., by auto and will stop at Springfield and Chicago, Ill.
For the present they will make their home with the groom’s parents and then go on the farm east of town.
It is the sincere wish of their wide friendship that their married life may be filled with happiness and prosperity.
