A former Protivin boy was recently married in Cedar Rapids. Following is an item which appeared in the Cedar Rapids Gazette:
“News of the marriage of Miss Ruth Hazel Lawson and Adolph J. Cisar will come as a surprise to their many friends. The wedding was celebrated Tuesday evening, March 7th, at 9:15 at the residence of the officiating clergyman, the Rev. Walter M. White. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Clarence Bennett, 375 south 16th street, where the couple will reside. Mr. Cisar is a bookkeeper with the Cedar Rapids Pump Company.”
