Married.
Miss Kate Fitzgerald, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Fitzgerald, living east of town, and Mr. Fred O’Brien, were united in marriage Monday morning, Jan. 4th, at 7 o’clock at the Church of the Assumption, Father Murtagh officiating. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Emily, and P. H. O’Brien, brother of the groom acted as the best man. Only the immediate family witnessed the ceremomony{sic}. The young couple left on the afternoon train on a trip to Chicago, they both have many friends who wish them happiness and prosperity through life.
