Wedding Anniversary.
The 20th anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stevenson was celebrated Friday evening, Nov. 19th, when many of their friends and neighbors assembled with well filled baskets and took them by complete surprise. Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson made the best of it in their smiling way, and greeted the guests with a warm welcome. Dancing and card playing were the amusements of the evening, and all present had a most enjoyable time. Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson were presented with a set of chairs, a rocking chair and a fine couch, which were accepted with many thanks. After this a most delicious supper was served. The O’Brien Bros, rendered the music to which the young folks enjoyed in dancing until the wee hours of the morning called one and all to their separate homes wishing Mr. and Mrs. Stevenson many more such events.
