WHITE—WHEELER
Fred H. White and Ruth Wheeler were united in marriage at 6:30 p. m., Wednesday, Sept. 22nd at the home of the bride’s grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. B. Wheeler. The principals were attended by Julius Melvold and Myrta White. The wedding party marched in to the strains of Mendelsohn wedding march played by Mrs. Alta Caward, of Waterloo.
Dr. D. T. Robertson, of the Congregational church, said the words which united the happy couple in the presence of some sixty guests. The wedding gifts were of a valuable and useful nature and were very numerous.
After the ceremony a three-course luncheon was served. The decoration scheme being pink and white.
The bride and groom left by auto for Calmar where they boarded the train for Chicago. On boarding the train they were surprised to find Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Melvold, whom they did not know were married, even, to travel with them.
