Last Tuesday at 9 o’clock at the Catholic church in Lourdes, occurred the marriage of Miss May Harris to Mr. Emmet Cummings, Father Norris officiating. The bride was attended by Miss Geneva Cummings, sister of the groom, while Raymond McCarville acted as best man. After the ceremony, they repaired to the home of the bride’s parents where a wedding breakfast was served to only the immediate relatives.
The young couple departed on a short honeymoon to Oelwein and other points east and on their return will begin housekeeping on a farm about six miles west of town. The PLAIN DEALER offers congratulations to this worthy young couple and wishes them happiness and joy all through life.
