Married.
Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock occurred the marriage of Miss Luverne Nichols to Mr. Harry Hopkins, at the home of the bride’s father, J. C. Nichols, Rev. Kerwin officiating. The bride wore a simple gown of white lace cloth, and the ring service was used. The decorations were carried out in pink and white. After the ceremony, a three course luncheon was served to the immediate relatives, Miss Clarice Thompson being the only one present outside of the family. The bride has grown to womanhood in Cresco and has many staunch friends. The groom has been employed in the Queen cupola factory the past two years and has proven himself a worthy young man. The young couple expect to go to housekeeping next week in rooms over Kellogg’s music store. The Plain Dealer joins with their many friends in wishing them hearty congratulations.
