A pretty home wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Mead near Lime Springs, Iowa, Wednesday, February 17th at 7 o’clock, when their youngest daughter, Miss Beth, was united in marriage to Walter W. Ludwig, of near McCallsburg, Iowa, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ludwig. Rev. M. L. Hill, pastor of the M. E. church at Bonair, performed the ceremony in the presence of a few of the immediate relatives and friends.
The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of light blue messaline, trimmed in white overlace and wore a bouquet of white roses. After congratulations, the guests were invited to the dining room where supper was served.
The groom has rented his father’s farm near McCallsburg where they will be at home to their many friends after March 10th.
These young people are both well known in that vicinity, having lived there most of their lives.
