MARRIED.
On Tuesday morning, Sept. 2nd, at home of the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. Blake, at Strawberry Point, Iowa, Miss Marian Iva Sloan was united in marriage to Algie Hall of Cresco, Rev. Bailey officiating.
Immediately following the ceremony they took the train for Cresco, and went immediately to housekeeping in the Goocher cottage on 3rd Ave. East which the groom had fitted for occupancy.
Mr. Hall is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hall, born and reared to manhood in Cresco, where he conducts a prosperous barbering business.
The bride, a sister of Mrs. L. A. Smith, has visited frequently in Cresco where she has a large number of friends who give her a hearty welcome as a resident.
The Plain Dealer joins with a host of friends in congratulations and good wishes for success.
