Woodrich – Caward Marriage 1913

On Wednesday morning, June 18th at 10:30 o’clock, at the home of the bride’s grandfather, Ed. Gillette, Miss Helen G. Caward was united in marriage to Fred W. Woodrich of Mt. Vernon, Iowa, Dr. D. T. Robertson officiating.
The house was prettily decorated with smilax, ferns and daisies, and following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served to about forty friends and relatives including the following out of town guests:
Mrs. A. H. Caward, of Waterloo, Ia., C. J. Caward and family of Mason City, Ia., J. B. Caward and Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Caward and daughter Alice of Dallas, Texas; Miss Ella Caward of Decorah, Ia., Fred W. Woodrich, Sr., and David Rath of Dubuque.
The couple were taken by auto to Ridgeway to take the afternoon train for a brief wedding trip. They will make their home at Mount Vernon where the groom is employed as an electrician. The Plain Dealer extends congratulations.
