On Tuesday, June 10th, at the Church of the Assumption, occurred the marriage of Miss Mary V. Miller and Mr. Amandas L. Schmelzer, Rev. Father T. J. Murtagh officiating.
The bride was attended by Susie Schmelzer, sister of the groom, and Elizabeth Miller, cousin of the bride, and the groom by James Miller, b{r}other of the bride, and David Schmelzer, brother of the groom.
The bride wore a beautiful gown of silk overlace over crepe du chine and a picture bat, and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. The bridesmaids were attired in white voile and carried pink roses. The groom and best men wore conventional black.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Miller, and the groom is a prosperous young farmer of West Union.
A wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents at high noon. Only relatives and a few intimate friends were present at the reception. A number of young folks gathered at the Miller home in the evening and it was spent in dancing and merrymaking until the wee hours of morning. The young couple left on the morning train for the Twin Cities for their honeymoon.
They were presented with many beautiful and useful presents.
The young couple will be at home to their friends, June 25th, on the groom’s farm near West Union, where congratulations and best wishes of their many friends follow them.

Transcriber’s Note: The bride’s first name is shown two different ways.
