MARRIED
On Thursday, May 8, 1913, occurred the marriage of Inger Beatina Aberg and John J. Hammer. The ceremony was performed by Rev. David Svenungsen, of Le Roy, at the home of the bride at 2:30 p. m.
The bride was attended by Miss Hattie Gross, of Decorah, and Miss Amelia Rakow, of Cresco, and the groom by Messrs. Theodore and Louis Aberg, brothers of the bride.
A wedding reception was given in the W. O. W. hall in the evening where a large crowd gathered and danced till the wee hours of morning, and all returned home saying they had a fine time, and wished the young couple many years of happy wedded life
The bride was attired in a white messaline dress with overlace and crystal trimmings and wore the bridal wreath and veil and carried bride’s roses. The bridesmaids were attired in white embroidered voile and wore roses. The bridegroom and best men wore blue serge and also wore roses.
The bride is the third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Aberg and was born and raised near Cresco and has won many friends here. The groom has made his home near Kendallville for a number of years and has also won many friends in and around Cresco.
Mr. and Mrs. Hammer will make their home on a farm near Kendallville where the congratulations and well wishes of their many friends, whom the PLAIN DEALER wishes to join, will follow them.
