At 11 o’clock, Tuesday morning, March 11th, at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. W. K. Barker, Dr. Robertson united in marriage Miss Winifred L. Barker and George E. Story, son of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. R. Story. The ceremony was witnessed by only the immediate relatives and Rev. and Mrs. Soper.
Mr. and Mrs. Story left on the one o’clock train for Minneapolis to remain about a week.
Both of the contracting parties are well and favorably to all of us, having been born and reared in Cresco. Miss Barker was for some time a popular instructor in our public schools, from which she was also a graduate. Mr. Story has been for some time stenographer and private secretary for Judge H. T. Reed. They will make their future home in Cresco.
