Cecelia Church Burned.
Fire originating in the basement of the Catholic church at Cecelia Christmas evening entirely destroyed the building. This church is said to have been erected about forty years ago but has been remodeled several times in the past few years. Nothing was saved except the vestments and the sacred vessels. The insurance is said to have been in the neighborhood of $6,000. No plans have yet been made for the erection of a new church. Services are held in a hall near by. It is probable that by next spring plans will have been perfected for the erection of an edifice in keeping with the size and importance of the parish. — Elma New Era.
