A marriage licenses issued during the past week to Oscar W Behrens, 26, Chicago, and Margaret Roberts 23, Lime Springs.

ROBERTS-BEHRENS.
The marriage of Miss Margaret May Roberts to Mr. Oscar William Behrens took place at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Roberts, at Lime Springs, Iowa, on the evening of September 9, 1911, at 6:30 o'clock. Rev J. W. Parkhill, D. D., Dean of Lenox College at Hopkinton, read the marriage service, which was witnessed by one hundred guests.
The bridal party descended the stairs as Miss Laidlaw of Cresco played the Lohengrin wedding march. The bride was attended by Miss Neenah Wetter of Boise, Idaho, as bridesmaid. Mr. Otto Behrens of Boise, brother of the groom, attended as best man. Master Havelin Jones, as ring bearer, carried the ring in the heart of a beautiful white rose. Little Marion Jones acted as flower girl. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The bridal party stood under a canopy of pink and white flowers, and the decorations of the rooms were in pink and while.
The bride was beautiful in a gown of ivory white satin, with garniture of seed pearls and lace. She wore a necklace of pearls, and pin of matrix and pearls which was a gift of the groom.
Miss Roberts attended college at Albert Lea, Minn., later completing a course at Mankato. Minn. Normal, and has been teaching two years. She is a young woman of splendid character and ability. Mr. Behrens is a graduate of Lennox College, Hopkinton, Iowa; is now attending McCormick Seminary, of Chicago, and is acting pastor of Erie Chapel Presbyterian Church, Chicago.
There were many beautiful and costly gifts.
The guests from out of town were: Rev. J. W. Park hill, D. D., Hopkinton Iowa. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Roberts, bride and groom of one week, and brother of the bride. Mr. Roberts is from Hangan, Mont. and his bride from Bangor, Wis.; Clayton Roberts, Alexandria, Minn.; Mrs. Doolittle. Hopkinton; Mr. and Mrs. Behrens, father and mother of the groom, Volga, Iowa; Otto Behrens, brother of the groom of Boise, Idaho; Miss Neenah Wetter, Boise, Idaho; Mrs. Jane Roberts, Bangor, Wis.; Evan James, Bangor, Wis.; Mrs. O. Evans, Bangor, Wis.; Everette James, Richland, Wis.; Mrs. V. Jones and children, Des Moines; Mrs. Frank Jones, St. Paul; Mrs. Cannon, Minneapolis.
After refreshments Dr. Carpenter spirited the bridal party away in his auto. Later they took a train for their future home in Chicago.
