Married at the Catholic church at Waucoma, Iowa, Wednesday, June 12, 1911, Frances Dunn of Jackson Junction and A. J. Owens of Elma, Rev. M. Hogan officiating.
The wedding was a quiet one, only a few relatives being invited to share in the festivities, which were held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dunn. After the ceremony at the church, the wedding party drove to the bride’s home, where breakfast was served and congratulations extended to the newly wedded. Shortly after they left for a stay of about a month with relatives and friends in Minneapolis and several points in Wisconsin.
The bride is quite well known here, being a sister of Mrs. J. J. Cooney of this city. She is a lady of many fine traits who has hosts of friends among those who know her best. She was attended by her sister, Miss Nellie as bridesmaid. The groom resided here a number of years and during that time made hosts of friends who will join us in extending congratulations. His brother Ed. of Elma was best man.
They have not fully decided where they will make their home, but no matter where it may be, the Dispatch hopes they will find prosperity and happiness.—Lawler Dispatch.
