Jinderlee—Walker
A very pretty wedding occurred at Lourdes, Iowa, Nov. 19th, 1912, when Anna Ruth Jinderlee and Frank W. Walker were united in marriage, Rev. J. J. Norris, of Lourdes performed the ceremony. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Jinderlee and is a charming and popular young lady. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Walker, and is one of the most prosperous young farmers of this vicinity. The bride was beautifully attired in a white gown of chiffon marquisette over white satin and carried white chrysanthemums. The groom's sister was bridesmaid and wore tan messaline. The groom wore the conventional black. Frank Jinderlee, brother of the bride acted as best man. After the ceremony the party returned to the bride’s home where a sumptuous wedding breakfast was served, at which only a few relatives and intimate friends were present. The dining room was beautifully decorated with smilax, pansies and carnations.
After dinner the couple took the train for the Twin Cities and other points in Minnesota, from where they will go to Milwaukee, then via Lake Michigan to Chicago. After their honeymoon, which will last about two weeks, Mr. and Mrs. Walker will go to housekeeping on the groom’s farm east of Maple Leaf.Transcriber’s Note: The groom’s last name is spelled two different ways.
