Wiest-Gleisner Wedding.
George Wiest, of Winona, Minnesota, and Veronia Gieisner, of Cresco, were united in marriage at the Church of the Assumption by Rev. Father T. J. Murtagh, Tuesday, October 22nd, at nine o’clock.
Immediately after the marriage, they returned to the home of the bride’s parents where they partook of a sumptuous dinner. The afternoon and evening was spent in social chat and dancing.
The bride was attended by Marie Wiest, a sister of the groom; the groom was attended by Sylvester Gliesner, a brother of the bride. The bride was attired in a white messaline silk dress with all over lace, and wore a veil and flowers. The groom wore a navy blue suit. Only the relatives and immediate friends of the couple were present at the wedding. This young couple were the recipients of many useful and beautiful presents. They left Wednesday for Chicago where they will spend some time.
This worthy young couple will make their home at Winona, Minnesota, where the groom is employed in a flour mill. We are all sorry to lose this young couple from our midst but all join in wishing them a long and happy wedded life and much success in their new home.

Transcriber’s Note: The bride’s first name is spelled two different ways.
