Irvine-McDugall
Married, at the residence of Mr. Eugene Irvine, Tuesday morning at 10:30, Mr. John A. McDugall of Morenci, Arizona, and Miss May H. Irvine of this city. The ceremony was performed by Rev. B. W. Soper, and the impressive ring service of the church was used. It was a quiet home wedding. the nearest relatives only being present. After the ceremony a delicious wedding breakfast was served.
The bride was attired in a beautiful gown of white embroidered Swiss over Messaline. Mrs. McDugall is a sister of Mr. Eugene Irvine, and has made her home in Cresco for several years. She had chosen the profession of a nurse and had been employed at the hospitals of Cresco and Arizona. She had been for some time Superintendent of the hospital at Morenci, Arizona.
The groom is a superintendent of the Power Department of the D. C. Cooper Co. He is well known and a highly respected gentlemen of his state.
Mr. and Mrs. McDougall left on the one o’clock train for a wedding tour of three or four weeks. They go via the Canadian Pacific to Vancouver, and then by boat to Los Angeles, Cal., and will also visit the Grand Canyon of Colorado.
