On the morning of Tuesday, April 30th, at 9 o’clock, at St. Joseph’s church, Cresco, Ia., occurred the marriage of Fred L. Grimm, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Grimm, of New Oregon township, to Rosa D. Kapler, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kapler, residing near Cresco. Nuptial high mass was celebrated by Father J. I. Wagner.
The bride was beautifully dressed in white and carried pink and white carnations; the groom wore dark blue serge. The bride was attended by Martha Grimm and Teresa Kapler, both dressed in green, and the groom was attended by Dan Kapler and Frank Baker, cousins of the bride.
After the ceremony the young couple repaired to the home of the bride where a four course dinner was served. Only the immediate relatives and friends were present. The young couple will start housekeeping at once on a farm near Cresco.
The Plain Dealer joins with a host of friends of the young couple in congratulations and good wishes.
