Silver Wedding Anniversary.
Last Thursday night, 150 or more relatives and neighbors gathered at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Parchman and completely surprised that worthy couple, the occasion being to remind them of their 25th wedding anniversary. The event was most enjoyable and one long to be remembered by all participants. During the evening Rev. Pless, with a few happy remarks, in behalf of the assembled company, presented Mr. and Mrs. Parchman with a beautiful couch and some very handsome silverware, after which a bountiful luncheon, brought in the well filled baskets provided by the company, was served. The evening was well spent with social conversation and games.
