Married at 4 p. m., Wednesday, March the 12th, at the home of the bride, Mr. Edward H. Schuman, and Miss Lydia Dempewolf, Rev. B. W. Soper performed the ceremony, using the impressive ring service of his church. The wedding march was played by the Misses Bertha and Vira Kuntz. Miss Dora Perry sang the wedding song, “If you are there." Mr. Herbert Keune was the best man, and Miss Clara Dempewolf was the bridesmaid. The bride looked very charming in a beautiful Cream Messaline dress. About 65 friends and relatives were present. After the ceremony the company sat down to an elaborate wedding feast.
The groom is one of our prosperous young farmers, the bride is one of Cresco’s finest young ladies. They will go to house keeping on their farm near Granger at once. Their many friends extend congratulations and wish them the very best of wishes for a long life and happiness.
