Pretty Home Wedding.
The H. C. Moen home was the scene of a very pretty home wedding Monday Jan. 29th at high noon, when their daughter Gertrude became the bride of Donald W. Lent, Rev. Gammons officiating. The ceremony was witnessed by only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties, and Rev. and Mrs. Gammons.
At the conclusion of the ceremony the bridal couple with their guests sat down to a dainty course dinner.
Mr. and Mrs. Lent left on the afternoon train for a trip to the Twin Cities after which they will return to Cresco and will go to housekeeping in rooms in the Harlan residence.
Both of these young people are of Cresco’s best, and the hearty congratulations and good wishes of the Plain Dealer mingle with those of their numerous friends in all that is good for their future.Source: Twice-A-Week Plain Dealer Feb. 6, 1912, P-FP, C-4
