Goetsch-Evans.
Married, Aug. 16, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Evans, their daughter Pearl to Edward Goetsch, Rev. Gammons officiating. About thirty of the immediate relatives were present and the occasion was a very pleasant one.
The bride is well known in our community and has won many friends who esteem her for her winning ways and noble character. She has been a successful teacher in the public schools of Cresco for the past two years. The groom is a young man of great ability and has been very successful in his literary pursuits.
The happy couple left on the evening train for Des Moines where they will spend several days. They go from there to Bedford, their future home, where Mr. Goetsch has been employed as superintendent of city schools. That their married life may be happy and prosperous is the wish of all.
