Monday was the 44th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Towne, and to celebrate the event, a party of about twenty neighbors and friends gathered at their home in the evening and had an enjoyable time, presenting them with an elegant rocking chair with which to remember the occasion.
