Wedding Bells.
A very quiet home wedding occurred Thanksgiving day at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Beman, when Bert Hammond and Miss Elsie Beaman were united in marriage. Rev. A. L. Curtis of Estelline officiating. The bride was gowned in a neat blue silk; the bridegroom wearing the conventional black. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Ueltschi stood up with the couple. After the ceremony supper was served to the guests, twenty-five in number. The happy couple received many valu¬ble and useful presents. The bridegroom is one of Castlewood’s best young men; all who know him respect him. The bride has been a resident of this place but a short time, but she has made many friends and enjoys the love and esteem of all who know her. The happy couple went to Watertown and Kampeska to spend a few days. The many friends of the couple join in wishing them many years of happiness and much joy in their wedded life.—Castlewood, (S. D.) Republican.

Transcriber’s Note: The bride’s maiden name is spelled two different ways.
