Babcock—Clark Nuptials.
July 12, 1909, at Shelton, Washington, occurred the marriage of Lydia A. Clark, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Clark of Cresco, Iowa, and Archie R. Babcock, son of Hon. R. H. Babcock, Ex-Chief of police of Charlotte, Michigan, Rev. J. C. Dorwin officiating. The bride, formerly an Iowa teacher, held the position of primary supervisor of the Glenwood public schools during the past year.
Mr. Babcock has interests in the timber claims in Klickitat county, and is now in the employ of the Kamilchie Shingle Mill company at Shelton.
Mr. and Mrs. Babcock are cozily situated in their cottage on the shores of Lake Isabella where they will spend the summer.—Shelton (Wash) Journal.
