Married.
On Wednesday evening of this week, the 30th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Paul, west of Bonair, occurred the marriage of T. Glen Johnson, of Bonair and Stella Buchanan, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Buchanan.
Promptly at the appointed hour, to the strains of Mendelssohn’s Wedding March played by Wm. J. Mead, violin, and Mrs. Dana Mead at the organ, the wedding procession entered the parlor and before the officiating clergyman, Rev. John Gammons, were met by the groom and his best man, and with the brief but impressive marriage ceremony of the Methodist church, the marriage vows were exchanged.
The couple were attended by Joseph Johnson, brother of the groom and Mrs. Nellie Paul, sister of the bride. Little Miss Luverne Nash, niece of the bride, made a charming little ring bearer and the little Misses Eleanor Jonns and Dorothy Thorne were the flower girls.
Following the ceremony, luncheon was served the assembled guests, among whom were included only the relatives and most intimate friends of the contracting parties.
Both of the young people were born and raised in this county and have a host of friends who wish for them a journey through life as pleasant and free from the clouds of trouble and storm as was the beautiful day on which their marriage occurred.
