Brierley-Rowley.
One of the pleasantest of the many June weddings this year occurred at the residence of Mr. Joseph McPherson, Thursday evening at 7:30 o’clock; his niece, Miss Pearl Rowley of Long Beach, California, was married to Mr. William J. Brierly of this vicinity, and the ceremony was performed by Rev. H. J. Hinman of the Congregational Church.
A large company of relatives and friends were present at the wedding and the congratulations were earnest and sincere. The bride receved{sic} a large number of beautiful and costly presents, including a great deal of silver and a Japanese tea set of rare beauty. After the ceremony a delicious luncheon was served and the guests departed with the kindest wishes for this popular young couple.
