Married.
The marriage of Mr. James E. McBride and Miss Agnes E. Norton took place in Our Lady of Lourdes Church on Tuesday at 9 o’clock. Nuptial high mass was celebrated and the ceremony was performed by Rev. Father Norris.
The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bartley Norton and a very estimable young lady, the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John McBride of Chickasaw county.
The bride was attired in a very beautiful and attractive costume of white net over white silk. She was attended by her sister Margaret. The best man was Henry McBride, brother of the groom. After the cerremony{sic} the bridal party and immediate friends retired to the home of the brid{sic} where a sumptuous dinner was prepared and a most enjoyable time was had by all. They were presented by a host of valuable presents.
After a week of visiting among their many friends, they will leave for their future home in Aberdeen, S. D., where the groom has prepared a very fine home. May their lives be long and happy as they have been in the past.
