Mr. Laenas Baumgaertner and Miss Lena Vogel were married at Fergus Falls, Feb. 11th. Mr. Baumgaertner and family attended the wedding and Mr. and Mrs. Heineke Sr., kept house for them while they were gone.

Vogel-Baumgartner Nuptials.
At the Lutheran church at Morton, Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1908, at 2 p. m., a very pretty wedding took place when Miss Rosa Malwine Vogel was united in marriage to Mr. Lenhard Carl Baumgartner, Rev. Faustian of Redwood Falls performing the ceremony and Mrs. Paustian playing the wedding march. The bridesmaids were Misses Annie Zinne and Elsie Vogel, the latter a sister of the bride. The groom was attended by his brother, Emerson Baumgartner and Emil Vogel, brother of the bride. The bride was attired in blue silk, carrying a bouquet of bride’s roses.
After the ceremony the guests betook themselves to the home of the bride’s parents, where a bounteous dinner was served. The afternoon and evening were spent with music and social conversation, all reporting an enjoyable time.
The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. August Vogel of the town of Paxton, one of the pioneer farmers of Redwood county. Miss Vogel was born and raised in Redwood county, has for years been the organist of the Lutheran church at Morton, and has a large circle of friends whose good wishes will follow her to her new home.
The groom is a prosperous young farmer of Lime Springs, Iowa, a young man of sterling qualities and well spoken of by all who know him. Mr. and Mrs. Baumgartner will be at their future home at Lime Springs, Iowa, about March 1st.—Redwood, (Minn.) Gazette.
