Married
On Wednesday, Dec. 11th, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Cleghorn, residing in New Oregon, occurred the marriage at high noon of their daughter Daisy with Mr. Clinton Thompson, Rev. W. R. Hill officiating.
Only near relatives of the contracting parties were present to witness the ceremonies, and in the evening a large number of their friends and invited guests gathered at the home of the groom, west of Vernon, where the evening was spent in feasting, dancing and merry-making till the wee hours of the morning.
The bride and groom are among Howard County’s very best young people and were the recipients of numerous useful and valuable presents in token of the high esteem in which they are held. They will make their home on the Thompson farm southwest of town where the congratulations and well wishes of their many friends, in which the PLAIN DEALER joins, will follow them.
