FERRIE-MALONE—At the church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, Iowa, on Tuesday, October 29, 1907, Rev. J. J. Norris officiating, occurred the marriage of Mr. Bernard Ferrie, of Cresco, with Miss Lucy Malone, of Lourdes.
The bride was attended by her sister Margaret, and Clement Ferrie, cousin of the groom, acted as best man. The bride was dressed in white net over white silk and carried carnations. The groom wore the conventional black.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride. Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present.
The bride is one of Lourdes’ most charming young ladies and well liked by all who know her. The groom has an excellent reputation and many friends.
Here’s congratulations and well wishes for a long and happy life.
