Knox-Clark Nuptials.
At St. Patrick’s Church, Cecelia, Iowa, on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 1907, occurred the marriage of Mr. Maurice Knox to Miss Margaret Clark; Rev. T. Nolan performed the ceremony. Mary Knox, sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaid, and John C. Clark, the bride’s brother, was best man.
After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Clark. About one hundred guests were present. It is needless to say that they were royally entertained and well feasted. Many beautiful and valuable presents were received.
The bride is one of Howard County’s fairest daughters and will make a sensible and charming wife. We hear none but the best reports of the groom.
The happy couple will go to housekeeping on the groom’s farm near Bluffton, Ia., where he has recently erected a beautiful home. Here’s congratulations and wishes for a prosperous and happy life. — Elma New Era.
