Sunday the sons, daughters, nephews and nieces of Mr. and Mrs. Lute Sanborn gathered to celebrate their 50th anniversary. It was all a surprise to Mr. and Mrs. Sanborn. Their daughters and sons came and got all ready and sent for them to come in for dinner. The relatives presented them with some appropriate gifts. Those present were Mrs. Mattie Craig of Fayette, Iowa; Mrs. Emma Searles and daughter Florence of Canton, S. D.; Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Sanborn, Lime Springs; Mr. and Mrs. Will Sanborn, Lime Springs; Mrs. Vira Whitford of Volga; Mrs. Ruth Smith, Volga; Mr. and Mrs. G. N. Bullis, McIntire; Mr. and Mrs. L. P. Sanborn, Bonair; Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Sanborn, Lime Springs; Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sanborn, Lime Springs; Mrs. P. C. Sanborn, Lime Springs; Mr. and Mrs. H. Wells and James Keppel of St. Cloud.
