A quiet home wedding occurred on Wednesday evening of this week, the 7th, which united two of our best known and greatly respected young people, Mr. Arthur J. Thompson and Miss Georgia A. James. The ceremony took place at 8 o’clock at the home of the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. House. Only the immediate relatives of the contracting parties were present. At the appointed hour the young couple, unattended, took their place under an arch in parlor which was beautifully decorated with maidenhair ferns, and while the strains of “Oh, Promise' Me” sounded through the rooms, Rev. Hinman read the beautiful ring service. Following the ceremony light refreshments were served the assembled guests.
The happy couple left on the early train Thursday morning for Perham, Minn., where they will spend the honeymoon.
The Plain Dealer joins with the many friends of the young couple in hearty congratulations and well.wishing for a long and happy companionship.
