When the Birds Mate.
A pretty wedding took place at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Trittle, In Willow Lake township, Wednesday a 3 p. m., when their second oldest daughter, Cora Lena, was united in marriage with Otto F. Klaffke of Cresco, Iowa.
To the strains of a pretty wedding march played by Mrs. G. F. Daudel, the bridal party took their places under a beautiful canopy of lace and ribbon, while Rev. D. R. Burr of the Kimball Presbyterian church performed the ceremony. Only near relatives were present.
The bride looked charming in a gown of Alice blue henrietta, trimmed with allover lace. After the usual congratulations the bridal party led the way to the dining room, where the tables were tastefully arranged and laden with tempting viands.
The bride is one of the best of Brule county’s products, charming in manner and pretty in form and feature, and if the Graphic is any judge of character she has made no mistake in uniting her fortunes with the young man who has taken her away. The young couple left Thursday morning for their Iowa home, where the best wishes of numerous friends follow them.—Kimball Graphic, March 8

Transcriber's Note: The bride’s maiden name is spelled two different ways.
