Married To-night.
At six o’clock this evening, Dec. 18th, at Grace Episcopal church occurs the marriage of Miss Emily Louise Martin, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. W. Martin, to Lucius C. Bauder, of Rockford, Ill., Rev. McVettie, of Decorah, officiating.
Following the ceremony, refreshments will be served at the home of the bride’s parents to a gathering of the relatives and most intimate friends.
Tomorrow the newly married pair will leave for a brief wedding trip to Chicago and other points before commencing housekeeping at Rockford.
The bride is one of Cresco’s most respected young ladies, well fitted to preside over the home the groom has provided for her, with all the qualifications which go to make the true wife and helpmeet.
The groom is a stranger in Cresco but is of good appearance and gentlemanly demeanor, and is reputed to be of high moral character and superior mental attainments.
The best wishes of all their Cresco friends will follow them to their new home
