Marriage licenses were issued, last week, to Wilkins E. Offen and Alma Paul, John P. Whalen and Ella G. Fitzgerald, L. Reynolds and Viva Lohius, Clarence O. Hughes and Minnie Leitz.

At the home of the bride’s parents near Schley, Tuesday, October 30th, occurred the marriage of Wilkes Offen and Alma Paul, Rev. Gammons officiating.

MARRIED.
At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Paul near Schley, Tuesday morning, Oct. 30th, occurred the marriage of their daughter Alma to Mr. Wilkins E. Offen, of Howard Center. The wedding was a quiet home affair, only the immediate relatives being present Rev. Gammons was the officiating clergyman and promptly at 11 o’clock commenced the ceremony that united the young couple in Hymen's bonds. Following the ceremony, a sumptuous dinner was served and a pleasant social time followed.
Both of the young people have been reared in Howard County and are known and respected by a wide circle of friends. A large number of valuable presents were given the young couple who will make their home on a farm near Bonair where they will commence their home life assured of the well wishes and congratulations of their friends, among whom the PLAIN DEALER is included.
