MARRIED.
GUNDERSON-ABERG—At the United Norwegian Lutheran church in Cresco, Ia., Wednesday, Oct. 10, 1906, Mr. Theodore Gunderson and Miss Martha Aberg; Rev. Hartman officiating.
The groom was attended by his brother and sister, Otto and Mabel Gunderson, and the bride was attended by her brother and sister, Theodore and Bessie Aberg.
The bride was beautifully gowned in white taffeta silk and wore white bridal roses, and the bridesmaids were dressed in white mohair and wore white roses. The groom and groomsmen wore the conventional black and wore roses also.
The church was beautifully decorated in roses and dhalias{sic} After the ceremony, they departed for the home of the bride where a large circle of relatives and friends gathered and where an elegant supper was served. In the evening, the company repaired to the Woodmen Hall in Cresco where they enjoyed dancing until an early hour in the morning; all leaving for their homes with the satisfaction of having spent a very pleasant time.
The bride is one of Howard County’s lovely young ladies, loved by all who know her. The groom is one of Winneshiek County’s best young men who is well worthy of the bride he has won.
The happy young couple will commence housekeeping on a farm six miles east of Cresco, where the hearty congratulations and well wishes of their many friends for a long life filled with happiness and prosperity, will follow them.
