Married Sixty Years.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Klemme celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at their home in Elma Thursday, April 2, 1906. A more extended mention of this together with a history of the family will be published in our next issue. All the members of the family, except two brothers were present as follows: J. P. Klemme and wife, Albert Lea, Minn.; W. H. Klemme and wife, Ridgeway, Iowa; J. C. Klemme and wife, Huron, S. D.; H. J. Klemme and wife, Belmond, Iowa; Mrs. O. G. Longley and husband, Dows, Ia.; H., F. and Chris Klemme, Dows, Iowa; Steve A. Klemme and wife, Dysart, Iowa; J. W. and B. F. Klemme and families, and Mrs. Mary Ferguson, Elma. Dr. and Mrs. Parker and family of Fayette were also present, Mrs. Parker is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Klemme, of Ridgeway.—Elma New Era
