March 19, at the residence of the officiating clergyman, Rev. J. G. Rugland near Saude, Iowa, occurred the marriage of a young couple remarkable on account of the age of the contracting parties. Peter O. Jacobson, aged 17, was the groom, and Bertina A. Malver, aged 16, was the bride. Both were residents of Paris township.
