On Tuesday, Oct. 24th, at the Lourdes rectory, by Rev. Father Norris, occurred the marriage of Mr. James H. Upton and Miss Rose Steffens. Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newly married couple was held at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. Steffens, residing near Davis Corners.
Mr. and Mrs. Upton will at once commence housekeeping, occupying the residence at the Oak Lawn Nursery, east of town, of which the groom is one of the proprietors.
The PLAIN DEALER joins with a host of friends of both the contracting parties in hearty congratulations and good wishes for a happy, prosperous and long married life.
