MARRIED.
On the evening of Wednesday, Aug. 30th, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Steinman, occurred the marriage of their daughter Jessie to Robert M. Thomson.
The wedding occurred promptly at 7 o’clock on the lawn, under a pretty tree to which the wedding party proceeded from the house through a pathway marked by festoons of golden rod. The bridal couple were attended by Arthur Thomson and Miss Mildred Steinman, brother and sister respectively of the groom and bride. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. P. Kirby.
The happy couple left on the morning train for a brief honeymoon trip to the Twin Cities, after which they will settle down to housekeeping in the home provided and furnished ready for immediate occupancy on the farm just west of town.
The bride is is{sic} one of Howard county’s best young ladles, refined and educated, and eminently qualified to make a true wife and helpmeet in every sense of the word. The groom is a young man of character and industry who has made a success of his chosen vocation. The Plain Dealer joins with other friends of the young couple in hearty congratulations.
