BAKER-LICKTEIG—At the German catholic Church, Cresco, Ia., Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1905, by Rev. H. J. Looesbrock, Mr. Joseph A. Baker and Miss Barbara K. Lickteig.
KAPLER-LICKTEIG—At the same time and place, by the same clergyman, Mr. Charlie Kapler and Miss Mary Lickteig.
The above pretty double wedding was the means of uniting some of the best of our young people and most respected families in our county. The grooms are the manly sons of Henry Baker, of Cresco, and Z. Kapler, of this vicinity; the brides are sisters, daughters of Anton Llckteig, of Howard Center Twp. Both young couples will settle down to realities of life on farms in this vicinity. The former couple left Wednesday on a short wedding trip to the twin cities. The PLAIN DEALER extends its heartiest congratulations to the young couples.
