Silver Wedding Anniversary.
Saturday evening, Nov. 16, 1901, some seventy-five of the friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Teetshorn assembled at their home to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their marriage. It was a well planned surprise and successfully carried out.
After a time spent in a social way, Mr. F. O. Farnsworth, on behalf of many donors, and in an appropriate manner presented the following: 2 set silver knives and forks, 2 sets silver teaspoons, 3 silver tablespoons, 1 silver cake knife, silver sugar shell, silver cake basket, 2 sets plates, 2 sets teacups and saucers, 2 sets sauce dishes, linen table cloth; 12 linen napkins, bed spread, pair linen towels, and other useful articles.
At the proper time the company assembled were called upon to partake of a great feast of cake and all good things.
Mr. and Mrs. Teetshorn appreciate the spirit of the occasion and sincerely thank their friends, neighbors and acquaintances.
