Married.
AKIN-ANDERSON—At the home of the bride Thursday evening, Nov. 14th, Mr. Clyde L. Akin, of Omaha, Neb., and Miss Emma S. Anderson, of this city, Rev. Thompson officiating.
The bridal couple were attended by Miss Ida Anderson, of Decorah, Miss Jennie Thompson, a cousin of the bride, and Mr. Ole J. Lofthus and Mr. Alfred Anderson, a brother of the bride. The wedding was a very quiet affair, only the immediate friends and relatives of the contracting parties being present.
At the conclusion of the ceremony a wedding supper was served to the bridal party and its guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Akin will be at home after Dec. 1, at 2214 J St., So. Omaha, Nebraska.
Of the bride, we cannot speak too highly. She is one of Cresco’s fairest daughters, having grown to lovely womanhood here, and is highly esteemed in her large circle of friends.
The groom is well and favorably known here, as a short time ago he held a position with J. H. Luers in his drug store; where he won for himself the good will and friendship of all his associates.
The PLAIN DEALER joins with their hosts of friends in wishing the best life affords to Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Akin.
