Miss Cashman Wed-
The marrage{sic} of Miss Anna J. Cashman, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Cashman of Elma, and Mr. Wm. Marr, of Riceville, took place at St. Patrick’s church at Cecilia, Ia., on Wednesday, Oct. 16. The bride was gowned in a blue mauve silk, wearing Marchael Neil roses in her hair and carrying a boquet of the same. Her sister. Miss Mary Cashman, gowned in a mode tan, attended her. –Mr. J. Marr, a brother of the groom, was best man. The bride is a well known teacher of Howard county and is a graduate of the Visitation convent of Dubuque and of the Iowa State Normal. She is a most estimable young lady and well fitted by excellent home training to the station of life which she has choosen{sic}. Mr. Marr is a prominent young farmer of Riceville and is to be congratulated in his choice of a life companion. After the marriage the young couple, accompanied by their many friends and relatives, repaired to the home of the bride, where a splendid wedding dinner awaited them. Mr. and Mrs. Marr left for St. Paul and Minneapolis on the evening train.
Among those present from away were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kingsley, of Dubuque; Mrs. P. O’Connor, Bankston; Messrs. Harry Callahan, Richard Lahey, Graf, Iowa; Mrs. M. W. Daley and Misses Marie and Anna Sullivan, Tivoll, Iowa.
