Happily Wedded-
News has reached us of the recent marriage of Miss Effie Everingham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. D. Everingham of this place, to Judge .F. W. Gifford, a prominent lawyer of Kansas City.
The groom has been a resident of Kansas City, Mo., for several years. He was elected to the office of Police Judge of that city in 1896, which office he filled with such credit and ability that in 1898 his party nominated him for the higher office of Judge of the Criminal Court.
The bride was born in Cresco and is well known in Howard county, having been a successful teacher here for a number of years. Her friends join with us in wishing them many years of happiness and prosperity.
They are at home to their friends at No. 1014 East 9th St., Kansas City, Mo.
